Result driven treatment, focusing on muscle / injury recovery, increasing mobility, and maintenance as preventative treatment. Techniques used depend on the certification of the therapist. swedish Massage:

Variety of smooth strokes and techniques such as rolling, kneading, and percussion to help the body improve its circulation, this massage is rhythmic and relaxing, giving your body the opportunity to release muscle tension and brings relief from aches and pains, decreases stress levels in the body, enhances mental clarity, and can improve physical appearance.

When looking for a way to relax and destress, the Swedish Massage is a classic and thoroughly enjoyable massage. Hot stones included.

Deep Tissue:

Designed to remove severe tension in muscles and connective tissue. Depending on the length of the session, this technique can be applied to work on a specific area (for shorter sessions) or applied as a full body massage for over all body wellness and circulation.

This service helps relieve severe pain in muscle and connective tissue, improves range of motion, and helping heal injuries below the surface. Following the session there may be soreness due to the deep work done by the therapist, but soon after major relief should follow after proper rest and hydration.

Medical Massage:

Various techniques are used throughout the session by the therapist to address muscle and skeletal issues diagnosed by a doctor. This session is typically booked following the recommendation of a doctor or medical service provider.

Trigger Point:

Tender areas of tension, often referred to as “knots”, are built up throughout a person’s life due to physical, mental, and /or emotional stress. During a session, the therapist will focus on stimulating and releasing tension around specific nerve centers called trigger points found throughout the body, relieving cramped and overused muscles.

This massage focuses on relieving points of pain and high stress in the body and finding a way for the muscles to relax rather than remaining sore or tight. If there are any major chronic pain spots or knots that need to be worked out, this massage may be right for your needs.

Sports Massage:

Throughout the session, the therapist will use joint mobilization, hot stones, and various resistive stretches to loosen tight muscles and increase range of motion. As the therapist helps you through a variety of stretches, they will also massage areas of soreness to reduce pain and swelling in the body.

Myofascial Release:

Pre/Post Natal Massage:

This session addresses the special needs of women are expecting or postpartum. Side-lying postures are used to prevent putting pressure on the abdomen while still giving relief to the body through the techniques used.

Among the many benefits of physical and mental relief this massage will bring, this massage may also reduce swelling, promote better sleep, ease muscle tension, and diminish stress, anxiety, and depression.

Lymph Drainage Therapy:

Swollen lymph throughout the body are rhythmically moved to relieve pressure and flush toxins and build-up from the system. Hot/cold stones, and hot towels are used through the session to relax the body and release the lymphatic points.

Lymph Drainage Therapy is preventative and remedial, able to be used for faster recovery from injuries, swelling, discomfort from pregnancy, as well as to strengthen resistance to illness. Some medical experts recommend doing Lymph Drainage Therapy preceding a mammogram for clearer results.

Reflexology:

Raindrop Technique (Aromatherapy):

Essential oils and feather stroking are incorporated with one another to create a therapeutic and relaxing experience for your body and mind. Young Living essential oils are dropped onto your body from short distance to imitate the feeling of raindrops, and the scent of the oils refreshes your mind during the session. Feather stroking is a fingertip style massage using very light touch to calm and relax the body throughout the session.

This technique may strengthen your immune system, loosen muscle tension, and improve circulation in the body, all while being extraordinarily therapeutic and relaxing for the mind.

Used to rejuvenate the body and mind. Stimulates all body systems to help bring balance and harmony to the body in a non-invasive manner. Using 9 Young Living therapeutic grade essential oils.

Chair massage

Chair Massage is performed fully dressed and seated in a specially designed chair. It is excellent for destressing, for muscle tension relief or post injury muscle recovery, technique(s) used depend on certification of massage therapist. Stop by and get a quick stress release first thing in the morning, during lunch or after work!

 

Massage Enhancements

Dry Brushing - $15

A firm bristle brush is applied to skin, massaging the skin in an upward motion. This technique exfoliates the skin while promoting better blood circulation. The mechanical action of dry brushing is wonderful for exfoliating dry skin. It also helps detoxify by increasing blood circulation and promoting lymph flow/drainage. Dry brushing unclogs pores in the exfoliation process. It also stimulates your nervous system, which can make you feel invigorated afterward

ARomatherapy - $15

Essential oils are used during the session to stimulate scent receptors and relax the mind. The oils may also be applied directly to the body.

Cupping - $15

Using rubber/plastic cups to create mild suction on the back, this enhancement helps remove toxins and bacteria from the body. Cupping therapy is an ancient form of alternative medicine. Therapist puts cups on your skin for a few minutes to create suctio ot gliding along specific areas to loosen tight areas. Helps with pain, inflammation, blood flow, relaxation and well-being, and as a type of deep-tissue massage.

Body Salt Scrub: back -$20 hands or feet - $15

A salt scrub is applied to the skin as an exfoliant, removing dead skin cells and encouraging cell turnover and better blood circulation. Smoother, softer and healthier skin. By stimulating the lymphatic system, sat scrub can help our body with natural detoxification process in helping rid of stagnant toxins in our body
